TALKING TO OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS - 15 10 12

I gave talks at the London South Bank University.

I asked the OT students why they chose to train in OT.

A common answer was, because they wanted to make a difference, to make things better, to help. I am thinking that they may find themselves involved in three strategies. They may make things better, they may support to accept that it is as it is, they may support to let go. It will be important to be aware of one's own desires and sadness to be able to support well all of the outcomes that emerge.
